After a 1 year wait, I finally take possession of my SBR. Almost forgot what I bought. LMT backlog and ATF backlog = a long wait.

Thanks for the feedback and kind words. Answers in no particular order:

Yep, you can order the can from AAC coated that way.
28 inches including the can - tip to tip
Including both stamps the cost was close to 3k give or take.
Can is about average for noise reduction. I have not shot sub sonic ammo through it but it can easily be shot without hearing protection under a covered range. Only comparison was a Elite Iron which was a little quieter but not quick detach.
Yep the mico aimpoint would be sweet, but I have not been able to use one yet to see how I liked it compared to the M4 and a nice M4 showed up on the forum for sale so I jumped on it.

Has to be my favorite of all my ARs,

Now if I can just convince the wife that a pre-86 MP5SD converted to 10mm would be a wise "investment"......
