Looking for any Long distance junkies in the AZ region who want to get the lead out. I have a range w/ steel at the following distances, 1450,1550,1760,1900,2000 and 2035 yards. Excellent practice, almost always some wind to deal w/ so... perfect exercise. Trying to learn in this venue and I know shooting w/ others will really help.

The location is about 35 minutes north of Phoenix by Cordes Junction, which is 40 minutes from Prescott. It is a bit of a commitement from So Cal. I drive from Phx to SD in about 5 hours so if you plan to come out let me know. There is good food 20 minutes from shooting platform so it's very doable. A weekend of Long range dope is always valuable.

Im definatly intrested. I live right in phoenix, does ths place have a name or is it just a piece of land. I only have a .308 but hell ill give it a shot. Depending on when it is I might be able to get more to come. I can only pretty much do weekends.

I've been shooting in the Mojave and high desert region near Barstow, but it can be difficult to get beyond 1200 yards at times because of local activity on BLM land. A weekend at a dedicated range like that would be worth the trip from Venice.
