miami rifle outside cincinati (600), alliance rifle club near canton, (600 &1000), solon sportsman north of andover (600). these are known distance with pits. club ranges but open for competitions. all have websites. plus ohio rifle and pistol assoc. has events at camp perry ranges starting this weekend.

Thunder Valley is nice and has longer distances (out to 2400 yards) to shoot if you have the equipment to do it. Rayners is also nice and has steel targets out to 1000 yards and is every bit as challenging as TVP. Varying winds across multiple valleys and shooting all directions at varying size targets makes it very challenging even for the best shooters. With a max possible score over 500 and still not one score over 390 shows the difficulty.

Both places are very good to practice and perfect your long range skills and also be in company of very knowledgeable and skilled shooters.
