This was posted on 24hrcampfire about a month ago. The OP posted it bragging about his "long range pistol handgun kill"

1. I think that thing is a little bigger than a handgun
2. I realize it take a little more skill to shoot than a rifle.
3. I think the guy missed the antelope doe he was shooting at and hit one right behind it.

The OP has gone silent for several weeks and won't answer the direct questions.

What say you?

Not even remotely qualified to criticize this man, and it doesn't matter the equipment, a 926 yard kill is impressive.

I will agree that the gun in question pushes the traditional of handgun but does technically fit the bill.

I also agree that it appears he missed the doe he was likely aiming at and hit the one behind. Can't see why someone would aim at one that is even remotely hit when a completely exposed target is there.

Just my observation.

I have zero problems with his LR hunting nor his shooting game with that firearm. The only issue I take is calling it a pistol or handgun. It's basically a short rifle without a butt stock. If someone wants to claim they shot/killed an animal with a handgun, it should look something like this.

I agree with Coldbore. I would also add he was not wearing the required blaze orange clothing to be hunting in WY. Just sayin'...

He said he had a hat on that got knocked off during recoil that was blaze orange.

I have no problem with long range hunting at all. Especially if you practice and know your equipment. I just don't like the fact that he is parading this all over the internet claiming he made this great shot on a doe when he actually missed and caught a break.
