Rifle Scopes Long range rifle scope... on a budget

I'm almost too embarrassed to ask, but I am looking to add a new scope for the times when I need something that I won't worry about much. I want to spend $200 max on something with a 50 or more objective, variable power, hand adjustable windage and elevation knobs, and can take the recoil of 300 winmag without issues. I know that for this money I shouldn't expect world class lenses, but I was hoping you can recommend scopes that are as decent as it gets for this sort of money

10x42 swfa is as close as you'll get to your expectations at around $300

The features you want, at the price you want to pay, simply do not exist.

This is probably as close as you are going to get, and this scope is a spitting image of the Weaver GS Tactical 3-10x and reportedly is made in Japan on the exact same line as the Weaver.

Keep in mind that external hand adjust turrets are worthless if you buy a cheap scope that doesn't track.

Check out Lucid Optics LUCID Rifle Scopes
I've personally shot rifles with the L5 and it works great for the money. You should be able to find one for approx $300 and the company has excellent customer service, I shoot with the owner regularly.

I've gotten numerous hits on the 6" target at 1000 yds using my Bushnell Elite 3200 10X scope that has no parallax/focus adjustment.

For the OP I would recommend either the Bushnell for $200 or the SWFA fixed 10/12X for $300. I have two of the SWFA 12X and I love them.
