Was looking at these 3 rifles.
Kimber 8400 tactical advances 300 win mag.
Savage ba 110 300 win mag.
Or the Australian APRS LR 300 win mag.
Has anyone had any experience with any of these rifles, all these can be used left handed.
I’m not sure which one I should get, I will be using this rifle for deer hunting up to max 800m weight is not an issue. Any info
Cheers.

Re: Long range rifle

Must be some big dear a hell of a lot bigger then the Great Dane sized black tails we get here where I live. I would look at the savage. I love my savage 10FP in .308 and the BA 110 is a great gun I have handled them and seen them shot as I understand it the muzzle brake is extremely effective as well so that along with the weight helps to mitigate felt recoil. And the barnes triple shock 165 bullet should carry around 754 Foot Pounds of energy at the 800 yards you look to use it on deer which assuming you can make a good heart/lung shot should do the job without any problems.

Re: Long range rifle

i don't have any of the kimber tactical rifles but have three of thier other rifles and they are awesome. they are super smooth. I shoot my pro varmit at 300M indoor matches all the time and finish in the top 5. The fit and finish while not the same as a true custom is very nice and lots of details already addressed. I would not hesitate in the kimber.
