PRS Talk Long sleeve or short sleeve jersey's?

So I'm looking to buy a couple of shooting jerseys and want to know what others have to say about short vs long sleeve for PRS match shooting? It'll be Techwear jersey if that matters.

I like the idea of the long and not getting scratched up as bad but am concerned about getting too hot.

Long. Packed to leave for a shooting weekend in a few minutes and I am doing all surplus combat shirts.

Plenty of quality shirts that will keep you cool, and scratches aside keep your arms from getting burned. I think the right long sleeves can keep you cooler as the sun isn't on that part of you.

I wear short sleeve, but then have a long sleeve hot or cold weather under shirt under it. The hot weather ones are all UV blocking and moisture wicking, and do a pretty good job of protecting my arms when shooting off vehicles.
The under shirts are a lot cheaper to replace when/if they get stained or torn up than a new jersey.
