Ive trapped several beaver that have had 1 front paw missing. I typically get called in behind inexperienced trappers to get that last smart beaver out of a pond. Id rather trap a smart coyote than a smart beaver. Ive even caught beaver that didnt have any front feet. But they still move mud just the same.

That's the same thing I do, I've got a bunch of coyote pelts I'm going to send to USA foxx and have a blanket made, then try to get enough otters to the same. Last time I went to sell some hides they offered $2 for xl coons and $12 for xl beaver. No thanks I'll keep them. Luckily I don't have to do it for a living.

I sell my raccoons and muskrats get myself a little chunk of gas money back but other than that I keep everything else and get random shit made. My friend made me this badass vest last year.
