Looking at polyethylene body armor

Looking for relatively light weight stuff thus the reason for interest in this. Any thoughts on this type of armor (I know about negative in terms of cost and effects of heat/cold). Any suggestion in terms of a quality source?

I understand that PE plates can run thicker and was wondering if anyone has experience using it a Jumpable Plate Carrier? Again - pros and cons?

Good stuff, light weight. Thicker or comparable if requiring E-SAPI rifle capability. Added benefit of neutral buoyancy (certain brands and models) if you have to work around water.
