Looking for a setup much like the one here. Venom Tactical Anaconda Maybe even the addition of gas recoil stock. Not big on the Tikka rifles. I would prefer the bolt style and stock of the Venom Rifles. I have about 600 rounds of ammo already reloaded for .270 win. So that is why I am not wanting the 308 ect. ect. I have read that some places are making them due to so many request. But, I have yet to find one or at least like I want. Even something close to this Venom Tactical Sniper series

My first LR to 1K was using 110gr Barnes TTSX at about 3000 fps. Great at up to about 600 yds but seemed to get grabbed by the wind after that. The 130s were not any better but they are really hunting bullets. I never tried the 135 SMK as I started shooting 308 which was much more reliable/consistent for me... Just seemed there was not that many interesting bullets for the 270 WIN for LR.

I hear the critics all the time. The .308 is a heavier bullet.... bravo bravo...and the .270 is much faster and the .270 had better ballistics as far as bullet drop and wind drift when put under the same conditions as the .308. Bottom line, I have ALOT of .270 ammo. If was to move up in size it would be the .338 Lapua not the .308.
The only reason the military adopted the .308 over the .270 was the fact the .270 was a long action. The short action allows someone to carry more rounds and get off the rounds at slightly higher ROF.
SAVAGE 110BA RIFLE, 338 LAPUA, 26" is probably what I will be getting if I don't have any luck with the custom .270 search.

Call one of the custom gun builders on here and order exactly what you want.
There's nothing on that Anaconda that says "Buy Me" over calling up a custom rifle here and getting the 270 built.
Even that "Elliptical Bolt" that they're touting has a work-around. Mark Gordon's solution does it without a specially ground bolt and it's a cheaper solution that does the same thing...
If you're going to build the 270 I would suggest getting a faster twist rate than 1:10", perhaps an 8 or 8.5 since Matrix is making high BC VLD's now, stuff that will be in the same class as the heavy 7's.
The 270 is plenty of oomph and a solid bit more performance than a 308 when you sling long range bullets as opposed to hunting bullets from it.
