Looking for a good 30mm 20 moa cam-lock mount that returns to 0 with out the bank

I had an American Defense Recon that I was very happy with. Love their locking cam lock and the fact that it doesn't marr up the rail.
Have you looked at Larue? They are not much more than American defense and have 2 models with 20 and one with 30 built it

What issues have you had/heard? I have one that I've swapped between rifles a few times without any shift in windage, elevation changes but I have 20moa in my Surgeon and none in my gas gun. Curious because I have a scope coming from lazy and I'm looking for another mount
The Larue mounts don't have as much bearing surface as some of the other brands, and have been known to dig into the rails.

I had noticed some scarring, but I thought that was just part of having a qd mount.
Killshot, the link to your specs goes to the forum homepage, I'm assuming you're running an ADM? I have heard that rings that clamp vertically can be prone to slipping, any knowledge on that? And, roughly, how close to zero are you returning to when remounting?

I'm no longer running the ADM as I've upgraded to a GDI. I never once had any slippage with my ADM rings and the only reason I sold it is I wanted to try out the GDI when they were running the group buy in early 2012.

Guess it depends on your standard of accuracy. For long-range shooting, detachable scope mounts are not the right tool for the job. For 3-gun and short range stuff.....no problem. I tried using a Larue mount more than a few times in F-class matches: moved point of impact around no matter how I tried to adjust it/tighten it, you name it. Other experienced shooters have had similar results.
