Gunsmithing looking for a good muzzel brake

Hi All,
Here awhile back someone mentioned on the Predator master forum that someone on here makes and sells one of the best brakes a person can find?
Can anyone point me in the direction to locate this person?
I am in need for a good break to put on my 260 Rem Ackley IMP barrel.
I would be great full for any help?

I believe they are talking about the Ross brake. If you use the SH google search I'm sure it will pull it up for you. He's out of ID and the brake does work really well.

And they Work! And he will machine it down so it flows into the contour of your barrel.

Search box might have the answer. I know it's a long shot seeing how no one has ever asked the question of "best brakes" before but hey, you never know....

RWS makes good brakes at reasonable prices and has great customer service. I put one on a 300 WBY and could not believe how effective it was. Didn't blow dirt and grass all over me when I shot prone either.

Roedale Precision makes great muzzle brakes. But finding someone in the US that carries them is a different story. You might want to PM Pete Lincoln and see if he has a state side retailer for his products.

here is one of Ross' brakes. due to a gunsmith miscommunication, it got taken down to the diameter of the barrel instead of tapered. some of that metal on the top portion is .05in thick, but it works!
