Looking for a short brim boonie

I have been loving the looks of the dropzone stubby, and for a year or so I have wanted to buy one (expensive I know), tried to buy one today and found out shipping to the US is almost 40 bucks. Bringing up to almost 90bucks for a boonie. To hell with that!

Does anyone know of any other short brim boonies on the market?

A thread from 2010 said that a SH member (graywolf) used to make them, any idea if he does and is still around?

If you click on the drop down in shipping there are rates less than $17.00, still pretty high for a hat.

Any alteration shop should be able to shorten the brim on your boonie for pretty cheap. Especially if you can find one near a military base.
