I have a SIG Sauer SSG 3000 Patrol US version I bought in 2014- and would like to get a Euro style stock. Had no luck so far. Wondered if anyone had one they want to sell- or could direct me to places to look. Been looking on Scandinavian sites. I attached pics of general idea of what I'm looking for. Thanks, Kip....

The GRS stocks can be inlet for the SSG 3000. I believe Kelbly still imports them. Europtics has them on sale from time to time.
The McMillian stock I assume you have is very good and almost identical to the Sig original I have.

I don't know who made the stock for the SSG 3000 US model (attached photo). I found a picture of the stock that McMillan makes for SSG 3000 on their site (attached). They do not look the same as mine. They have none in stock- and said 10-month wait. I have also attached pics from the the British version of the SSG 3000 owner's manual, and you can see it's pretty clear that McMillan did make the stock for the British market because it's so similar to the aftermarket stock they show on their site. You can see that there are significant differences between the US and GB versions of the SSG 3000 stock- if McMillan made the US version, why not just produce the stock they were already making for aftermarket and GB versions?
I think I will keep this rifle for a long time- and I am lucky that I got one before they stoped importing around 2015- price has gone up a lot. I like the classic look of the stocks that I posted pics of in my original post, so I am researching replacing the US version stock that came with mine. Is your stock the "SSG rifle stock earlier..." that I posted in original post?
I saw GRS and contacted them. Because of custom nature of their rifles, not available left handed version. More I research this, I realize I have a bigger problem than I thought. I'm right handed- but shoot rifle left handed (how the hell did that happen?) Never noticed till I went to buy a nice stock.

If you put the German made and the U.S. made rifles side by side, you could not tell them apart. The McMillan on the U.S. made rifle is slightly different, more in textures than basic design. Looks to me as if McMillan was asked to copy the original German design.
Take a good look at the GRS stocks. I love mine which I used for a Howas build. They do need to be bedded, but they are a very good design.
I assume you know Benchmark makes barrels for the rifle. Takes five minutes to swap barrels. The slow twist on these fine rifles drives me crazy. Unfortunately, .308 barrels last around 10,000 rounds.

Sorry. I should have said it does not look like the photos in your first post. Pictures in the second were not opening initially and the rifle is at the ranch.
Mine is German made but identical looking to the U.S. version which I assume is what is in your second post.

All three are easy to distinguish between and all three are in the pictures above.
Add to that Accurate Mag and GRS also make stocks/chassis. Although there is a new chassis from Sweden, the LRD JET-01. Waiting to get my hands on one now.

I have never seen the Euro SSG300/STR200 stocks imported into the US in batch. In all these years being a Sig SSG 3000 fan, I have seen one original Euro wood version STR200 sold on SH for about 3.5k (as I remember), and a trial-run aluminum folding stock (no rifle) sold on GB for about 1k. If you keep looking, you can get a used early import SSG3000 for about 2.5k with McM stock. I recently sold mine for 2.3k on GB after selling it here for several months with no taker.

If you are interested in a chassis for your SSG, check this out....
It will be cheaper to pay any of the custom competition stock makers to make you a stock than getting an STR stock. I've been looking for one for a while too, now I am in the process of converting an Anschutz target stock to fit the SSG.

I see at one time ssg3000 bedding blocks were available after a quick Google search. Any of you guys from Europe know if these can still be purchased? One was on eBay and from Poland.
Allright, so.
The 1st gen Patrol stock i basically a Sauer 200 STR stock sawn off for a flat fore end (some were not as seen on a pic above) and painted black. (1st gen actions are STR actions, did not get a integrated picatinny until later)
2nd gen is the Mcmillan.
3rd gen is the American made plastic one.
4th gen is a wood laminate soft touch painted and in the same shape as the gen 3.
Used STR wooden stocks can be found here (scandinavia) for $3-500.
Aluminium bedding blocks are readily available.
Best bet to find what you are looking for (most of you) would be to contact the guys at: Skytterlinken.no I do not know if there are any export/import limitations from Norway to USA. We have a hard time getting weapons related items from the US though.
