Looking for good text book on external ballistics

If you don't have a copy of Applied Ballistics For Long-Range Shooting by Bryan Litz I highly recommend it. He established Applied Ballistics, the most common ballistic computer software used, and breaks down many of the concepts of external ballistics in a way that is technical enough, but also in a way that can be understood by most people.

It depends on whether you want a book on the actual science behind exterior ballistics, or something more applied. If you want the science I would recommend Modern Exterior Ballistics: The Launch and Flight Dynamics of Symmetric Projectiles by McCoy and Ballistics: Theory and Design of Guns and Ammunition by Carlucci. If you want something more applied, the Litz stuff previously recommend is a good choice.

It’s worth getting the hard bound version. Free with AB Analytics. Also a great learning tool.
