Looking for remington 700 serial decoder link.

A bit back I seen a page or thread that was used to tell you how/where your gun's action started out. Being a PSS, Varmint etc etc. I dont know if it was a chart, a link to Remington themselves etc. Im just wondering what the age and the origin of my action is.

Whenever I wanted that info, I either emailed or called their support center. They can tell you how it was configured when it left and when it was born. If it has the original barrel, you can use their "BLACKPOWDERX" barrel code to determine the date.
