Hey all, have an RPR on the way in 300 PRC and I had previously bought 34mm 1 in seekins rings but that was for use with a different build and starting to get the idea I won't be able to use them with the 30 MOA rail and the hand guards. Any advice would be greatly appreciated especially if you have first hand experience. I have a vortex strike eagle with 56mm objective and plan to use the sun shade given I'm an Arizona shooter. Thanks in advance for any input!

Go with Spuhr mounts. Spendy but you will never regret it.
Call Mile High in Colorado and they will set you up with the correct rings.

Depending upon what you run for scope caps and how you fit the rifle, you might be looking at anything from 1.25" to 1.5" of ring/mount height to achieve the needed clearance and position.

The banner picture at the top of the RPR page appears to show the use of 1.5" rings with a 56mm scope:

You don't need a "uni-mount" solution unless you are looking at running with more than 30 MOA of cant. If you use the Strike Eagle's zero stop, there probably isn't any advantage to additional mount cant.

If your running a continous top rail like on the RPR and using a scope with a 56mm obj usually you need a 1.5" set of rings to clear the rail if the rail has a 20 or 30moa built into it with scope caps imho.

This is what a set of ARC 35mm rings with a 1.26" height looks like on my RPR 6.5 CR with a 7-35x56 Mk5HD. Factory 20MOA rail. I had this same scope in a set of ARC rings with 1.10 height and still was room to run scope cap but they were too low for my Magpul PRS stock. Head all layed over..... I know you're going to have a 30 MOA rail but I still think the 1.26 height ARC rings would work great. Great rings.

Everybody has their favorite goto I guess.

I prefer Badger. I use 'em on several rifles, their one piece mounts and their rings and never had a problem one. Even on the .50BMG. They hold tight and don't mar up the scope either. Rings are SN'd and come in a matched set.

Seekins makes extra high 34mm rings. They are 1.26 inches high.
