My sister in Texas asked me to try and find some people who would donate products to support her non profit for mental and physical disabilities, the problem is that the auction is going to be Oct. 16th at the Elm Fork gun club in Dallas, Tx. Not alot of time to find people to donate! They are not gun people so they have had sort of a hard time finding anyone to donate. There will be a live auction and sporting clays match as fund raiser, for more info go to their Facebook or contact info below.
The non profit is Helping Restore Abilities located in Arlington, Tx. their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/helping.ability
This is an amazing group of people who really work hard to provide services for those who cannot provide for themselves, and they serve the entire state of Texas not just the DFW area, and alot of what is donated is thru private funds such as this live auction and shooting event.
So what I need, is anyone who can provide firearms related products to donate any items including uppers (complete or stripped), optics (binos, LRFs, rifle, tactical, hunting, ect) accessories or kits, backpacks (tactical or hunting), stocks, barrels, or anything else that can be auctioned to raise funds. Please send new items, if you are a Company/ Vendor wanting to donate please make sure you tell Kimmie your Company name, contact information, what products you will be donating, and what the estimated value is.
If you read this and know someone please pass along!!
Those who donate your Company name will be announced during the auction and a list of doaners will be given out to participants at the auction and shotgun match at the Elm Fork Shooting range.
Please post here also that you will be donating, also if you live in Texas or surrounding areas and can make it to the event please do, I will be there supporting my sister and her crew. Plus trying to shoot a shotgun on one of the teams, that will be scary as I suck with a shotgun!!
