Re: Looking for Winchester Pre 64 Model 70 Firing pin
Gentlemen,
Thanks for the help, so far so have already tried most of those you have mentioned. Numrich (out of stock), Brownells has a cocking piece(supposed to be factory replacement) but no firing pin to match factory replacement. Wisnersinc, got an email from Eric this morning, hasn't made them in 5 years, sold the last one 2 years ago. E-gunparts.com same company as Numrich. Old western Scrounger, no joy. I have found Ones made by Tubbs. Seperate firing pin and cocking piece, but I would rather stay with a factory one if at all possible. Last resort, I'll have to do Tubbs. That together runs around $117 through MidwayUSA. The stock firing pin that I have is a 2 piece but it will not come apart, there is no pin holding it together. NO threads, so I'm guessing it's a press fit. In the mean time I guess I'll keep swimmin.
