I'm looking for some recommendations for a friend who's wanting to upgrade his Millet scope.

Budget is about $2000. Must be FFP, mil adjustments and mil reticle. Also looking for zero stop and good adjustment range. Good gals is also a must. Looking for at least 24/25x. Accurate tracking is also a must.

Will be put on a 308 and used to shoot out to 1200 yards.

This friend finally brought his precision rifle out with is to 930 yards and unfortunately looked through our S&Bs and now he wants better glass.

There are a few that I had in mind:

Vortex Razor: how is the glass and reliability?

Sightron S3 FFP: don't know much but I hear good things

Are there any NF or Leupold scopes that satisfy the above requirements?

Razor is only a 5-20 unless you go with the Razor II 4.5-27 which is $2500 (and a steal at that).
I have a Razor 5-20 and it's a good solid scope with accurate tracking and above average glass.
They can be had for $1600 or less as demos or used and your friend could not go wrong there.
NF has 2 FFP scopes, 3-15 F1 or $3500 5-25 Beast.
I'd suggest your friend wait for the new made in America Steiner 5-25 to come out.

I have the Razor HD and a S&B 5x25 , When I shoot to 1000 yards or more I rarely use more then 18 power. So I the Razor HD is a great way to go and you can find them on sale and have money left for a good mount.
