Just dont remember bergara having a high end chassis rifle before. Looks like it’s bergara badged.Interesting how? Its a Bergara badged MPA?
Yep.You mean I wasted my time taking my B14 Hunter and putting on an MPA Hybrid last year?
Definitely not a Curtis/MPA action. The Curtis action is a three lug and closeups of the new Bergara shows a two lug with the extractor machined into the lug.Is it a Bergara action in an MPA or an MPA with Bergara badging?
Define high end chassis. They’ve had the LRP for a while, their Premier action in an XLR Element...which is still a fantastic chassis.Just dont remember bergara having a high end chassis rifle before. Looks like it’s bergara badged.
I can't see that.Looks like MSRP is $2499
And an MPA production rifle is 1999, pic rail and muzzle brake is a couple hundred more and I get to choose.Looks like MSRP is $2499
Which barrel threads do they have? That’s exactly what I want. A competition rifle I have to send off to have a new barrel put on.
I can't see that.
If that was the case, Why not just buy the MPA @$ 1,995?
Not published. One can only assume it’s rem thread pattern but it’s the coned bolt face and not the threads that preclude remage.Which barrel threads do they have?
I'd like to understand how that is an issue if the bolt face angle is matched by the breech face angle?it’s the coned bolt face and not the threads that preclude remage.
There are smith's that will rebarrel a Bergara....but not many from what I've heard. Basically if you don't have proper tooling / reamers, then it's a no go as I understand. Bergara will rebarrel for you and to date, my Premier 6.5 Creedmoor is the most accurate rifle I've ever shot.I'd like to understand how that is an issue if the bolt face angle is matched by the breech face angle?
I believe Deep South Tactical is or is about to start producing Bergara barrel nut prefits. Not published. One can only assume it’s rem thread pattern but it’s the coned bolt face and not the threads that preclude remage.

If you’re a PRS member you can get a discount on MPA items.Street price might be lower?
I guess we’ll see what the street price is then. Some of you saying it’s the same price as this rifle rifle or that rifle...so what? #1 that isn’t street price. Second, I think you may be unaware of Bergara Premier quality and the common half MOA accuracy with factory ammo. My LRP has given up multiple 5 shot groups that were sub .3 MOA and it’s been 100% reliable so far. Action is right up there with the best factory offerings in my opinion.
Why are they hunting podiums? Do they cook well on the smoker?
