Looking for a 34mm mount about one inch high. Doesn’t matter if it’s qd or not.

I want to switch a gen2 razor between two rifles that don’t have adjustable comb so I want to keep this as low as possible.

Have some Seekins rings that I’m using now.

Anyone have any experience with rings vs one piece mount as far as keeping any changes in zero to a minimum. Don’t see a need to switch to a mount really if there isn’t an advantage in this area. May have to find out for myself haha but thought I might be able to save some money asking here first. Thanks.

Agreed, go one piece for you purposes and since you're looking for a single solution and we have the same scope (I'm assuming yours is the 4.5-27x56?), perhaps you can be a little looser with your coin and consider this Spuhr:

https://spuhrwebshop.com/en/isms/sp/...l/sp-4011.html

Although it is called the GAP mount, I assure you it works with our scope and an AI AT. Whatever your rifles are, you'd only have to worry about whether the objective bell will clear down to your barrel overhanging the Pic rail. Although you wouldn't be able to use their slick mounting wedge as the turret housing is so close in clearance to the mount, light pretty much barely gets through, it still clears. Now, it's officially 1.102" high so maybe that puts it out of the running, but you'll have a hard time finding a more robust solution if you're willing to meet the cost, but they've been known to go on sale on here for up 18% off recently. If this solution does it for you I'll also add that there's an anti-cant level built in, BUT, I've found it hard to use given my geometry with the rifle and that's a long way of saying a have a long ass neck! Still, it's there and may work for you so that's something to think about as well as their direct-to-mount interface system, for say a ACI, red dot, LRF, etc... Check out their site, you'll see that there really isn't another mount that compliments the Razor's Tonka Toy bulk like this... Oh and they do have QD options, but you gain height and they're even more pricey.

Oh, another thing to think about which you may already know, is that you should go with a 0 mil/0 MOA cant in a one piece of any make if you're going between calibers in your rifles, so that parameter is left to the scope rail on the respective rifle, just makes thing easier.

Steiner has the lowest 34mm that I'm aware of.

I have these on an HMR with an XTRII. Looks really good.

I have a spuhr now and it’s 1.5” high. I need something really close to the 1” range. I had some .92” Seekins rings but they were just a hair too short. Really haven’t seen any one piece 34mm mounts in the 1” tall range but feel like that would be the easiest thing. Don’t want to go too much taller than that since I’m using a stock with a non-adjustable comb on both rifles and it’s a pretty big scope with the 56mm objective bell.

Thanks for the replies and I guess that adding something to increase the comb may be what I have to do. I already use a Triadstock pack and it works good with the 1” tall rings. My thought was that a one piece would make it easier switching the scope between rifles compared to rings.

Was really just trying to see if anyone knows Of a quality one piece 34mm mount about 1” tall.

Edit: just remembered mpa makes exactly what I’m looking for but doesn’t look like it will work wit’h he razor
