Rifle Scopes LPVO to mount on 6920...need help deciding..

Well I considered the ACOG, but I reckon that's off the table, so taking another member's advice I have been looking at these optics. I have seen the 1-4X at Camp Perry used with great success ( a travesty IMO as I still use irons on my competition rifle) but this would go on a 16" bbl. for more social purposes. The gun shoots quite well with the factory barrel, but I do have a Krieger from Compass Lake that will go on in the distant future so I am leaning towards a price range up to $800. Which means I will go over that as I did on my last optics purchase....

I see that the Strike Eagle is a popular scope, Steiner, Zeiss, Athlon, and possibly Burris all seem to be good choices. I bet there's some I missed no doubt. Doesn't have to be 1-4X. So members, once again I ask for opinions and advice on a solid scope that I won't outgrow -so to speak- and would prefer MOA because as we all know that is the system real shooters use!

With that budget- check out the Trijicon Credo 1-6x. I got one from EuroOptic right after they came out. I really like it. The Segmented Circle .223 reticle would serve you well.

the now discontinued trijicon accupower FFP 1-8 is available for not much over $800, very solid, nice glass but it is neither small nor light.
