LRI Build Scimitar?

A while back (maybe old hide?), there was a thread from LRI about a build they did called the schimitar, I think. The coolest component of it was that they had milled the bedding area from aluminum(I think), also like a bespoke mini chassis.
Anyone remember this or have links to the pictures?

That was not the Scimitar. I've done some glue in chassis blocks from AL for Anschutz, Suhls, and I did one out of 6AL 4V titanium once for a guy on a bighorn action. (that was cool). A really trick walnut bedding block was also made for a Voodoo action last year. That was fun too.

We've also bedded guns with carbon twill weave pre preg material.

It just takes money folks. This kind of one off stuff is a blast to do, but its expensive. The amount of time we end up spending on these borders on the absurd.

Thanks Chad for replying. I remember seeing those pictures and thinking that it was phenomenal from an engineering perspective. Was hoping to find those images again, but they seem to have vanished into the ether..or my googlefu is weak.
