Lubrication / Oil for DLC Action

Just got my action back from being DLC coated, what is everyone using for oil?

I go back and forth between Break Free CLP and Slip 2000 with the added benefit of lug grease on the lugs so it cams over smoothly. Hasn't failed me thus far and is extremely smooth. Granted i do this before every match i shoot. When going to range i'll leave it.

Slip 2000 seems to do well in a variety of temperatures
M-Pro 7 is also not a bad choice
T17 breach plug grease is my favorite grease now after doing long term storage tests and temperature tests

+1 for Slip 2000 and a little grease behind the lugs.

I use a very light coating of shooters choice grease on lugs and contact surfaces on the bolt - just a thin film spread with a fingertip. Clean the bolt and action raceways/lugs after every range trip and keep it lubricated and it runs amazingly smooth.

I have not used slip, but a friend let my try some of his tetra grease. I was amazed at the difference on a Defiant all stainless--and I have tried a lot of different lubes. Not sure what you are running your bolt it, but worth looking at. It goes on thin, but you can really feel the metals sliding a lot smoother....even on my cerecoted stuff.

It it also holds up vrey well thought a day long match.

I use synthetic waterproof grease on my actions. Grease/oil is not going to hurt your DLC.

There's not much that won't work as long as it's a lubricant, the only thing I avoid is using Froglube on nitrided finishes like QPQ, Melonite, etc. since it stains.

i do the same with all of mine. Slick and doesnt gum up easy. Ran it in 20deg up through 100.

I use m-pro7 on most of my stuff and tw-25 on the lugs. It doesn't seem to attract dust as much as some of the other lug greases I've tried

I use a little known lubricant called "cherry balmz" it is a cool that smells like cherry. It does a great joob of penetrating the metal and not coming off. Keeps everyhtjing nice and slick.

IF you had it DLC coat it I would give it a VERY generous dose of your favorite oil everywhere and wipe off the excess. DLC is kinda like parkerizing where it likes to suck that oil up.
