Any quality EP-2 grease is fine and cheap.

Read the instruction manual that came with your gun. If you do not have access to a manual, call the manufacturer. All guns are different. The instruction manual for a RPR calls for grease on the lugs. Other actions call for light oil. You need to be aware of anything that can drip down into the trigger.

I use Shooter's Choice which has worked well for me along with Tetra white lithium as well, neither has shown to be better. Currently running the SC. Only on the bolt lugs. Nothing anywhere else unless it's in the threads to prevent galling.

I am fairly certain the grease Kelblys sends in the syringe with thier actions is Pro-Long EP-2 but before I owned a couple of thier actions I was using LUCAS red and tacky and Lucas X-Treme EP-2 since I allways had it on hand.
That's what I have allways used on the drive line and steering components on my jeep, a little goes a long ways and it stays put.

this might be better as I LOVE the Slip 2000 EWL but it's far too runny and thin a lube for bolt lugs; but I've never used it before
I started using RyDol's Pressure Grease after I received a can of it with my JP LRP-07 (for the trigger). It ended up working really well. I put just a touch on the lugs of my TL3. If you guys haven't been to RyDol's website, go take a look. They have a lot of stuff that is shooting related: polysonic bullet treatments, HBN, solvents, etc...
Do not buy expensive grease. You are just wasting your money.

Sig recommended TW25B for the slide rails on my P226, and now I use it for all my pistols without any issues. Even the Glock factory armorers with their “You’re over lubricating the gun” mantra seemed pleased with this grease. It’s become my “Go To” grease for pistols and bolt guns in the proper places.

Super Lube is what I prefer on all firearms. Pick it up at Home Depot for less than $5 for a tube on my bench, I also carry s small squeeze tube to the range.
Any basic lube or grease will work. Doesn't need to be any high speed gun grease.
Has anyone had a bad experience with grease? Have you used grease that gummed up over time, didn't last long, or washed off easily when it got wet?
I don't put a grease or heavy oil on the lugs of my bolt guns. I have a teflon lube pen that works great. Super slick and actually stays put pretty well.
