I've got a buddy that wants to swap out the stock trigger in his REPR to something in the 2-3 pound range. It's a stock AR15/10 style trigger, and I know there are several good brands out there.

Can anyone offer specific recommendations? I told him he's probably in the $250-350 range.

    Thanks in advance.

I would stick a Geissele trigger on it; right around that price range, and the sniper variant (20")REPR comes stock with one.

One of the repr's only redeeming qualities is the Geisselle triggers that come factory installed. If he is chasing accuracy it's not the trigger...it's the rifle.

I have geissele in my AR's and they are great. My 16" REPR has whatever lwrc stock trigger they stuck in there and. it's ok. Wilson Combat makes an amazing trigger, I
think better than Geissele. The Geissele National Match trigger might be something to consider.

He's right about this, especially with the 16" REPR, it's a 1 to 1.5 MOA rifle. I absolutely love my REPR, and would never be without it, but it's my bang steel out to 700 yards or so gun. It's not what I would grab for a precision rifle match.

Your buddy should also try different ammo to see what his REPR likes most.
