Maybe we don't really figure it is a worth while question.

1. You can't sell on here to begin with, so most people won't answer as it may come off as encouraging you to try and sell.

2. It's your stuff, do what ever you like. Why any individual would have 4 REPRs at $3600 each seems to hint that you have a agenda, which would be you are a business. Businesses are not allowed to advertise on here or engage in direct sales. You have to be an approved vendor.

3. It's not posed as a question of DI vs Piston, it's I have too many of one thing do I need the the other. Besides a question of DI vs Piston has been discussed at length, and really its which ever, you the owner/shooter prefer. Its a chevy vs ford debate.

So, while you may feel you are being ignored, it's because you have 1 post, 2 when you posted after yourself, and because its not a question that would help anyone else.

I sold DPMS SASS to buy my second $20" REPR and sold my Armalite A4CBN to buy a second 16" REPR.

If you don’t have the time to shoot then a uber super special rifle will mean nothing.


Shooting is a perishable skill. If you are not doing it you are losing it. The weak link in this discussion will be you. My REPR is sub MOA. Have shot a OBR, it is also sub MOA. Have shot a GA, guess what, it is also sub MOA. The point that brings all these together is me. In your case it will be you.

Look, I'll give you some friendly advise before you get buried. Don't be so persistent when asking people, "which one is better." People here are actually giving you an answer. You have to kind of, well, be more perceptive. People here are actually laughing at you for having multiple, identical weapons. Some of this may be going right over your head so I thought that I would be nice and help you see this. From your grammar skills, I would venture to guess that English is your second language (I only guess this because you are going for your MBA. Most MBA students have a firm grasp on their grammar-foo unless they are multilingual with English being learned later in life.) English as a second language also seems to fit because you are missing the underlying answers that have been provided to you in other replies in the form of sarcasm.

So....I will translate the above posts.

The shooter has more to do with accuracy than any gun. Both the REPR and the SASS are exceptional rifles. A proficient marksman will out drive you in competition with one while you fire the other. The reason why you have two of each REPR is beyond anybody's grasp.

My solution for you; drop one 16" and one 20", go buy your SASS uppers, shoot all 4 and see which one is the most accurate for YOU.

BTW, IMHO, I think that a varied collection is a lot more impressive than a multiple, like weapon collection.

Guys if you are not fond of having multiple identical weapons don't ever click on the picture threads over at arfcom. Some of those guys have 10, 15 or more basically identical AR 15s. If it was me I would also have a more varied collection and yes 4 REPRs cost a lot more than 4 run of the mill AR 15s. Anyways besides the other issues addressed here just thought I would add that.

I have one REPR. I cherish it. I clean it well. I'm working up hand loads for it. I've scoped it. I dry fire it at home. I've taken it to three ranges in the past month. I'm trying to be the shooter it deserves. Couldn't imagine having more than one. Couldn't imagine not knowing what to do with it. Of course, I feel the same way about all my guns.
