I have a SA M1-A with a Vari-X III 4.5-14x50 LR. The scope is mil-dot and has the side focus knob and tall target turrets. It's been gathering dust for literally 20 years and I took it out shooting today. Worked great out to 200 but I was thinking I'd like an M1 elevation turret and start fooling around with some longer ranges (500-800yds). I quickly found out that Leupold Custom Shop is closed. Leupold may still sell their screw on dials but I don't think they would be as robust as I would like and may be prone to accidental turning (?). Kenton Industries makes custom turrets but it seems like they would just provide a replacement tall turret that would still fit under the cap. Is there anyone else that could do a M1 turret swap?
