I built this rifle over the last year, waited 3 months for the tan sage mod 0 stock.(so my patience level is pretty high) I can pick up a Leupold 110076 NIB for 1450 today or would I be better off just picking up a USO sn3.
Unsure of the purchase of the Leupold due to the last leupold I purchased had reticle cant issues. Where as I have never owned a USO scope but from what I have heard they are the most durable optic out there. Along with the glass/quality to match.
As you know the m1a is a rough action rifle compared to a bolt rifle, so take that into consideration.
Have 1800 as of now to spend in my optic fund, It will be 4 more weeks before I'll have the 2500 for the uso.
I would like to hear from someone who has used both. rather than just biased opinions.
I've read and watched the reviews on here and others of these 2 scopes, which were used on benched bolt rifles, rather than fielded "heavy" slung over the back and carried/banged on trees ect. semi auto.
Not saying I use my rifle as a hammer but it is a rifle lets not forget, not a porcelain vase.
