I'm feeling the need for a more comfortable and versatile stock. So far, all I've found online say they aren't compatible with a rear lugged receiver. Anybody know of viable replacement?
thanks!

non wooden stocks

you could find others online or maybe a wood replacement
there has to be tons of other companies you could go through maybe even the cmp . best of luck and send pics if you do get it back together .

Sage EBR chassis gets my vote...

McMillan is your answer and......retains its classy style.

M1A's dressed up as ARs are so gauche.

If it were me.....

Get a big red and have it fit for your action.

My M1A wears a birch that I would love to be walnut or cherry but it shoots so well I am afraid the time space continuum would shift if I change any fucking thing.

My Springfield M1A Supermatch, SA9805CA, is still all factory, I would be afraid to change anything, and I like it the way it is:
McMillan camo bedded stock and the Douglas heavy match stainless barrel.
I love the way the rifle sings when shooting, on ejecting brass.
