Precision Rifle Gear M1a super match - need suggestion for replacement stock.

I'm feeling the need for a more comfortable and versatile stock. So far, all I've found online say they aren't compatible with a rear lugged receiver. Anybody know of viable replacement?

Digging through the Sage sales brochure where it talks about barrel weight, the last sentence says: 'not compatible with rear lugged receivers'. Bummer.

Ok did a little digging you can modify a McMillan stock to make it work or try to get a JAE if you are lucky enough to find one.

If it were me I would have a front lug welded on, drill and tap both lugs, and pillar bed it in a McMillan.

My M1A wears a birch that I would love to be walnut or cherry but it shoots so well I am afraid the time space continuum would shift if I change any fucking thing.

Mcmillan works fine for double lugs, w/ just a little mill work.

Yep, that's how I used to build mine. That's the base to a true 3/4 moa m1a.

My favorite stock for the M1A is the Mcmillan M3A.

My Springfield M1A Supermatch, SA9805CA, is still all factory, I would be afraid to change anything, and I like it the way it is:
McMillan camo bedded stock and the Douglas heavy match stainless barrel.
I love the way the rifle sings when shooting, on ejecting brass.
