M2008 338LM Question

Is there anyone that can turn a barrel for the 338 M2008 action without having the action in hand? Am I incorrect in assuming that the actions are consistent enough that headspace won't be an issue? I'm looking for both a 338LM barrel and a 510 whisper equivalent barrel. Sorry if this has been answered but I was unable to find it in a search.

They can do it without the action in hand....however George @ GAP prefers to have the action in hand so he can set the headspace at a minimum. Most gunsmiths will ask for the action.
