I tried a couple different type scopes. I first put a vortex venom 1-6x24 with bdc3 illluminated reticle and didn’t really like it on the tippmann m4-22 22LR. Then I put a crossfire 6-18x44ao with vbrite illuminated reticle, and like it much better. I also put a 3.5lb trigger in it. It’s pretty good now and lots of fun. I put the LPVO on my 308 AR. It’s suited for that caliber much more anyway.

I'm getting 1/2" groups @ 50 yards with mine too with CCI Standard Velocity with the stock trigger w/a Vortex Viper 1-6 x 24 scope, accurate and reliable, fun to shoot.
Highly recommend it, easy to clean and way more accurate than I expected and made of metal not plastic, good AR trainer also and the .22LR ammo is way cheaper.

Lessons were learned…
Had a local smith turn the tenon down on a Sako barrel to fit my TacSol. Dimensions were not as requested, and he cut the breechface after being told to leave it be, so I’ve had to recut the chamber (Bentz) and still need to deepen the extraction slot.
It’s going to be a slow process to get the most out of it, but I certainly like the balance from this 23” tube.

Yikes! I might just drop another barrel in like a Beyer's.

I am running 3 of his barrels. A 16" which I'm actually selling to make space in the safe, an 18" copy I made for my wife, and an 8" I built into an SBR (wide told me I can never sell that one).

The CCI standard velocity shoots great in all of them, but the spread in velocity does start to impact accuracy past 250-300 yards.
