M40 clone / 40X rimfire

My M40 / 40X rimfire project.
I'm not sure if this should be posted here, or in the rimfire section... Jonathan Elrod at Modacam Custom Rifles just finished putting a Krieger barrel on a 40X rimfire receiver for me. He is an outstanding gunsmith, I can't recommend him enough!!

Thank you very much! He put a barrel on a 40X that's going to be an M24 clone for me as well, I should have that put together in a week or so...

Yes, you have a good eye for wood pmclaine! I found the stock new/second hand, and traded a Bell & Carlson M40 stock for it...

I have a CMP 40xb I want to have him work over to repeater status. It’s an excellent shooting rifle but single loading gets to be a pain.

Single feed makes the ammo last a bit longer : )
I was going to have him do a conversion and build an M40A5 clone for me, but I think I will just go with a Vudoo.
