I hate to ask this, but the correct torque value for the bottom metal is 65" lbs, correct? I had it somewhere but have misplaced the info.It is a return stock with the correct bottom metal. thankls

I thought that 65" pds was for pillar bedding only? A return stock would have no pillars? I heard that the bedding will fail under such pressure.

Im runnin epoxy pillars in both of my return stocks. I torque them to 55 inch pounds.

You're right. Return M40A1 stocks have no pillars. They must be installed before using higher torque values, like 65 inch pounds.
