Here is an example of the Swedish M42b sniper using the same German Ajack scope as found on the SS/SSR and improved Swedish short side rail mount. Due to the demands of war, German scope exports were stopped and this left the Swedes in need of scopes. They produced 2 indigenous models that followed this. These rifles were chambered in 6.5x55 Swiss. Their accuracy was legendary and they became known as the Arctic Predator. The sniper rifles themselves are mostly made up of very early Mauser made receivers @ 1900
