Well I thought it was a Gen II but now I'm not sure. I bought it in August of 2020 and it has been sitting in the safe ever since (damn time flies).
I pulled my order confirmation email and it does not say anything about Gen II so that leads me to belive it is Gen I. I'm going to edit this post.
I bought a short action at the same time and built a 22 Creedmoor on it and love it.

I do know for a fact that the Gen II will not go into a Rem 700, only the Gen I bolt. That is the reason MacBros still make the Gen I bolt for sale. As for the action differences, I would like to know as well.

I think they made adjustments to allow for Remage barrels on the Gen2. Not 100% sure though. Thanks.
