New rifle showed up a few weeks back there and working out a couple kinks and getting some stuff together and almost got everything straightened out. Rifle is a custom 6mm creed, kelbly atlas action, manners t5 and badger bottom metal. One of the last kinks is the mag. I purchased an arc mag in hopes to run a short 10 rounder.

This mag latches beautifully, free drops but the bolt slides clean over the round. I pulled my ai mag from my stiller 260 build and it feeds flawlessly and the arc works fine in the stiller/Mcmillan/ptg combo, but not the kelbly/manners/badger combo. This rifles main purpose is target and starting my luck in comps but can’t get the 10 round to feed.

Any suggestions on how I can get this mag to feed or am I stuck with 5rd and long 10 rounders

Man, ARC mags dont feed in a Remington or a Axiom either. If you want it to feed in your rifle, be prepared to permanently modify your action. I sold mine in the MP the day after Ingot them in the mail. The three out of ten rounds that would actually feed were smooth.

Several threads about these on here.

I started with that problem too. It would feed 3-5 rounds at best and absolutely never the last one. I filed some material off the front of the follower, and the 2 wings under it and it feeds all 10 perfectly now.. in the stiller but not the kelbly lol

I'd change mags as the above posters said. Now how do you like that Kelbly Atlas action? ;)

So far I’m a big fan! Absolutely love the mechanical ejector, buttery smooth, love the trigger hanger!! For the money I think it’s got to be one of the best actions on the market. Feels miles above my stiller. And the bolts are interchangeable (for switch barrels) which is great. Plus shot one of my best groups at 100 with it and load development isn’t done yet. Think this is going be a shooter
