Mag-Tec 308 magazines

Any one try these from Brownells? Described as a steel 308 DPMS pattern mag.

Haven't tried one. The reviews don't look promising though. I wish someone would come out with a reliable magazine that would allow a longer COAL (2.82-2.85) that didn't cost 100 bucks.

They are of generally inferior quality compared to other mags, including their fit/finish, not to mention spotty functioning at best, including not feeding reliably and failing to lock the bolt back when empty. They are not worth the money...even with them on sale for $25/mag. Do yourself a favor and either hold out for some 20LR PMAGs at normal retail or go ahead and spend $5/mag more and get the OEM DPMS mags (also in stock at Brownells right now).
