Action= 700
Chassis= MPA
Mags= Accurate mag & magpul

Noticed the problem when shooting off barricades. If my magazines have any pressure on the bottom of them, my bolt will not close. I will have to pull the rifle to the rear ( off the game changer) and run the bolt again.

I have no feeding problems when shooting prone or when there is no contact with the mag.

Any suggestions for a fix?

The problem is the magwell in the MPA is too sloppy and it let's the rear of the mag pivot back and up. You might experiment by adding layers of tape to the back of the mag and see if that helps.

If that fix works you can put some two part epoxy on the back of the mag, let it dry, then sand it down to the perfect thickness where the mag fits snug, but still drops free. I have seen this problem before with an MPA chassis.

Ok. Got a chance to shoot this weekend and realized I do not have the issue with the accurate mag...it has a separate problem.

While shooting/running the bolt my rounds slip forward in the magazine and get hung under the feed ramp. I will have to reach up and pull the round back in the magazine inorder to feed the round.

Any suggestions for this?

I had the same problem. Remington 700 308. I did this. Die grinder with a small burr bit then file, sand, and polish a little notch. No more hang ups for hundreds of rounds.

If you do that, those magazines are now non-standard and won't fit in any other rifle like they should.

The problem is not the magazine. The problem is the mag well in the chassis and that's where the shim should go.

Mpa has a fix coming for this. A small plastic piece that fits into the chassis near the mag latch the keeps this from happening. I epoxied a piece of .125” aluminum in place that does the same thing. Works so well I did it on all 3 of my chassis.
