Magnetospeed sporter help

Hello guys
Can you tell me if magnetospeed sporter will work with my muzzlebrakes?

Likely not. I have a 4 port Heathen that's shorter and I have issues occasionally with mine.

I have always wondered if the velocity readings need to be taken with the brake on? Like will it make a difference if I shoot a few without the brake to get velocity, then put it back on?

Should work. I've brought it out closer to muzzle exit on some brakes by wrapping the strap around the brake's nut right before the first port, then shimming with cardboard under the barrel.

I have run my Magnetospeed with both an AR with a brake and a Tikka Tac A1 which has a larger brake with no issue.

I use mine on a rifle with a 3.3 inch sidewinder.
I modified it slightly with a hack saw
I can post pics tomorrow because it’s currently at work
