Curious if any V2 users with forward muzzle brakes have had any issues with this chrono? My brake vents basically 360deg forward....

I like the ease of use with magnetospeed and their FAQ is somewhat washy in the subject....

The MagnetoSpeed can be used with various muzzle brakes and flash suppressors provided that the muzzle gasses are not diverted directly into the V-block, muzzle strap, or blast beam (arched portion). That being said, the blast beam was designed to handle the muzzle-blasts of most common shoulder-fire rifles, shotguns, and handguns. If your muzzle brake or flash hider is long you may consider the V2 model which has an extra inch of clearance for these devices. Our 1:1 scale print outs are a good way for you to be able to print out a scale outline and hold it up to your firearm to see if it will work.

makes sense, but this brake will be about 2" on the end of my 26" barrel… Granted I can remove the brake for testing….

Cool how they give you these diagrams http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0150/8926/files/Magnetospeed_V2_Bayo_Profile.PDF?45

Talk with the guys at Magneto Speed and they will tell you how to set up a custom trigger. I have a V1, and they talked me thru the set up to work with my 338LM that has a 2.25" brake that blows forward.

I use a V2 on my .338 LM with Fat Bastard. No issues although I did fray the end of the strap that was hanging down. Set it up correctly, and you'll be fine.
