Re: Magpul Dynamics SPR/DMR &PR#1 DeLand, FL Feb 20-27

Just a heads up; there are still a few spots left. Don't miss out on this awesome training. Last year's classes were great - but with the host range's expansion, this year will be even better.

I attended this PR1 class over the last four days and it was a great class! I highly recommend this class to anyone looking for training on precision rifle. I have been shooting long range (up to 1k yrds) for a couple of years now and I came away with a much greater understanding of the fundamentals of marksmanship, calling wind, supported shooting positions, Etc. The drills were excellent. Caylen did a great job teaching, keeping it fun and challenging. I feel like I am much more capable now and I'm looking forward to the next one. Thanks for all the knowledge Caylen!

The PR1 class was excellent like Mike said. Caylen is a great teacher. He has a great deal of knowledge about marksmanship and was able to teach us a lot over four days.
We started with the basics of establishing the natural point of aim and the fundamentals of marksmanship. I enjoyed the "chalkboard" sessions where we reviewed internal and external ballistics, theory behind weapon maintenance, milling etc. Caylen explained this to us in a very thorough, knowledgeable, and yet entertaining manner.
The best part for me was putting all this knowledge together to make the 284-1000 yard shots on the long range. Learning to read the wind is an art. We gained confidence in making the long shots in the wind by practicing our wind calls while wind conditions ranged from about 5 to 13 mph.
The third day we practiced some barricade shooting utilizing different shooting positions. We also had some rain to add our experience.
The last day we continued with some milling exercises and barricade shooting.
Casey from KAC brought over some of their newer products, including the new 7.62 suppressors, that we got to try out. I can't wait for my 7.62 MAMS to arrive.
We finished the class by running to get our heart rates up and shooting drills on the 75-100 yard line.
Overall an excellent experience that I plan on repeating next year.
Thanks to Steve for making the class possible.

I also attended the PR1 class and would highly recommend it. And to echo what has already been said... Caylen is a great teacher!

I liked the class so much I will be back next year for both the SPR/DMR and Precision Rifle 1 again.
