Magpul MOE handguard or Quad Rail?

I am trying to decide between a Magpul MOE handguard or quad rail. I like the size and feel of the Magpul. My concern is stability...with it being polymer. Will it hold up well? Will it shift? I plan to mount a laser/light combo, and don't want to have to adjust the laser.

Since the MOE isn't free floated and mounts with the delta ring assembly there will be a bit of movement in it. So this won't lend it self well to a laser. A laser is a waste anyways IMO. The issue isn't the polymer. It is the way it would mount to the gun. So unless the quad rail is a free float you will have the same issue.

Thanks for the reply. I like a laser/light for home defense. If things go bad, a laser makes for quick target acquisition, especially in the dark. I will look at some free float guards, but will probably go with the Magpul. If the laser moves too much, I can always add a free float later.
