Luckily I don’t live in Van Buren or even near there, but I have several friends from the northern part of “the county“ who are as French as it gets. I am not surprised in the least by this. One of my friends from Madawaska blew himself up with a charcoal grill (charcoal not propane) we still can’t figure out how he managed it. When they order breakfast it usually goes something like this:
”I’ll have 2 eggs side by each & a pair of toast”...

4.5 more years my daughters will both have graduated from high school and I’ll be back in Georgia!

Took a motorcycle trip up that way once because "It was there".

Great place to tour along.

Thought with the end of summer it was going to be the end of tourists.

That was when I learned snow machines make highways in the wilderness.

Stayed at a place, think it was called The Lakeside.

Owner was great, let us stay on his land, fed us in his restaurant.
