I bought LMBR chrono and I went out to test it with my 22LR. The first data collection I decided to do with cheap Topshots (gusty wind, and to test the process)

I filled my excel sheet and then tested which BC value matched the results the best.

    I ended up with R4A of 0.087.

Has anyone else had this bad BC outcome? The worst is that the data matches my dope pretty well so it should not be a fluke.

For anyone interested here is my data sheet on velocities.

Freaking hell I noticed that the 0.87 RA4 BC compares to 0.111 G1 BC.
So it is all good. Had no idea the jump is that big. o_O

It will be fun to nerd out and see which one is closer at 200m under different conditions.

Probably with another cartridge becoause the Topshots can't hit much anything that far to see puny 0.1mil difference.

case closed.. I cleared this problem by reading the other topics, mainly mv vs bc thread.

Now I checked the data with JBM BC calc and moved from BC of 0.111 to multi BC.

    0-50m BC is 0.113
In multiBC menu I set BC at 1060fps (muzzle velocity) to 0.113.
    And 50-70m BC is 0.108
In multiBC menu I set BC at 958fps to 0.108.

I shall see the results and improve them further on the next range trip out to 215yds

    Guessing a BC of 0.105 at 100m.
