I'm trying to find a reputable man-tracking course to refresh my skills and learn new ones. I can travel anywhere in the US to attend the course so location doesn't matter. If any of you know of any good, reputable courses or have been to a course that you found educational and worthwhile, please share the schools name and/or website link here. Thanks for the help, guys.

Re: Man-Tracking School Suggestions

I haven't been to his school but you should look into Tom Brown Jr. I believe he is out of NJ. Sorry, I don't have a link, just know of him through his several books and others that have talked about his school.

Contact the Border Patrol section of your local Homeland Security office. They are usually willing to send agents who work along the Texas or New Mexico border and do it everyday.
They have put on several classes for my department and know their stuff.

They occasionally offer spots in their Bor-Tac class. Weeks long and VERY tough but incredibly educational.

Thanks.

Re: Man-Tracking School Suggestions

If you are looking for a professional man tracker, instruction. Contact Joel Harding besides his 25-30 years with the boarder patrol he has trained Special operation groups and too many others to list. Has convicted murders on track evidence100% the real deal and he can prove it.

FYI Tom Brown is some what of a topic among trackers

TTOS all the way.

One of the best schools I've ever been to, thankfully the military was paying for it.

There is something to say about a school when all the plaques on the wall are from SEAL, ODA, and Recon guys thanking them for the school.

The instructors are billy goats, so if you aren't ready to do some hard core tracking through some nasty shit up to 10,000ft, its not for you. We were getting ready for astan, so they ran us ragged. I can't recommend them enough.
