Manners Colors - Actual Pics?

Yea but it looks like a custom order and grey was added to the mix. I think it’s normally just orange on black carbon

I’m pretty sure it was a custom color for Curtis Custom Weapons. I tried to recreate it on my W3

Hey guys,

I was browsing Manners and trying to figure out what kind of camo to put on it - well actually it's already placed my Group Buy for the PRS - TCS, which I got in Elite Tac High Plains Molded (which I don't really know what looks like). Thinking ahead if I ever do place another order, I'd like a better understanding of the colors.

Altus does a great job showcasing their colors - but Manners' website just has these little swabs that are hard to imagine.

If you guys don't mind, can you post a pic of your Manners stock and the actual color name?

i grabbed one in the Badlands camo. I Wasn’t a fan of it but it was all they had. Really wanted the Scorched Earth camo. But Once it got here, started growing on me. I dig it now .

I’m guessing 3D printed spacer blocks to keep everything in the same spot if you’ve got to pull it apart.

This color looks different than the regular Tommy Bahamas. Is this a new version of it?

Anyone got a photo of a “Back in Black” in the wild, like outdoors? All I can find is a couple photos of stocks for sale here on the Hide, in which the colors look a lot more subdued than that shown on MCS’s website (attached).

Also, I’ve seen references to Black on Black, that ain’t the same as Back in Black is it?

Appreciate the link sir. The pics in that prs-tcs thread show BiB to be black splotches on dark gray or black carbon. On the MCS website color swatch I posted above the pic of the rifle looks more like gray splotches on black carbon, almost like Midnight. Go figure....either way looks badass to me.

About to order an LRH...can't decide between Back in Black and Midnight. Swamp keeps lurking over in the corner too.

Sorry, just saw this. You have to call them and choose a color scheme and colors they currently have. They write it up and then you approve for build. They go over all the various color blots, they all have names. Pretty easy, they were really good about sharing pics of stocks with purple and walking me through what they can and cannot do.

Yes sir exactly that. I have a habit of loosing small things, like circlips, when I have to pull stuff apart.

Honestly not sure. I just so happened to snag this one directly from the "ready to ship" page on the website. I had never seen the color before and took a gamble. That being said I had never seen a Manners color I didn't like so figured I would be good to go. I love the color and I haven't found anyone else with one of these colors yet.

It sure is. Its a v-22 with a 22" long, Krieger, 1-16, 1.25" straight taper. Best shooting rifle I have ever owned.

I have a TCS in Midnight camo on order that I chose based on the pictures I have seen. Looking at yours there is alot less of the paint and I'm not sure I like it. I wish I could get the artic but it seems to be discontinued. If this is how the Midnight comes now I might have to add some paint.
