Manners Composite Stocks Estimated Lead Times

Ordered a LRH with the mini chassis and a 6 slot MLOK bottom rail on 3/17/22.
Stock shipped on 8/24/22.

Manners called me on the day they were shipping it to let me know that they didn't install the MLOK rail, because Badger stopped manufacturing it. I was planning on using the MLOK to mount bipods and stuff to, so I didn't have any sling studs or other bipod mounting solutions on the order. I'm pretty salty that I wasn't notified of this issue until they were about to stick the stock in the mail, and I didn't want to wait 4 more months for them to add a sling swivel so I told them to send it along. Don't think I'll be ordering from Manners anymore in the future, they seem to be garnering quite a reputation for botched orders.

Nice first post lol You know you can put a sling stud on in about 5 min right? You are getting a little more worked up over a small issue. If you just want a sling stud tell them to install one.

Thanks, longtime lurker first time poster.

I do plan on fixing it myself, I assumed that was clear. Manners took 4+ months to fix an incorrect paint color on a friend's stock so I don't have much faith that they can put in a sling stud in a timely fashion.

Yeah a missing rail isn't a major issue, but as a small business owner myself I think it's poor CS to call me on shipping day and essentially say "Hey just FYI you're not getting what you paid for, and we're not going to offer to fix the problem or even apologize". It's the principle of the thing that bothers me.

My T4A finally showed up. Ordered the first week of January. Got it the first or second week of August but hated the 3 way adjustable buttstock so sent it back to have it replaced with a standard pad. I had to drill out the holes on the bottom for the Area 419 rail and they werent exactly spot on either which wasn't a huge deal. Overall I'm happy with it.

What models? Guess I won't be getting either of my orders from Q1 in time for hunting season.
I ordered a TCS in July of 2021. Still waiting and haven't heard anything since I reached out to Jim a little more than a month ago.

At this point I'm not sure if it's a long running joke. I know from on here that some who ordered the same timeframe recieved their tcs order back around April of this year.

Ordered a CS2 through APRS here in Australia in July 2021 with a 30% deposit.
I was told roughly a 7-8 month wait, I'm still waiting.... word from Manners (through APRS) is likely another 6 months which I don't believe at all

Manners stocks in general are great. Their comms are absolute garbage. I ordered a mcs-prs-tcs months ago. Asked what the status was on the 4 month mark which was quoted. They then told me it would be “mid November”.

I have serious doubts they will meet their timelines. What’s the hold up? Is it carbon fiber?

Going on 13 months for TCS

But worth it! I've had 2 T4As and sold them. This TCS is finally the manners that fits me best.

Anybody know if there's a Lower profile Arca rail that fits this bolt pattern and type? I don't need the extra weights with this barrel.

Just leave the rail that’s on there. You will not get much closer with a standard Arca rail and no real gain from being .1-.2” closer.

They are ok. Just prefer traditional
Ok was just wondering as I sold my last stock without mini chassis and I wouldn’t own a stock without it at this point. Got my first around 10 years ago and any stock since then I got had it. I just like the ease of install and the versatility of being able to move the stock from action to action if needed. Your money though so buy what you want.

But all that wasted space under there!! Maybe I can fit some handwarmers in those empty slots? :geek:

Our local MDs like cattle gates and cut outs, etc., so the lower the better for me with my high rings...

Yes glad we we have options.

Hey guys, just popped in here and see alot of y'all waiting. Things got absolutely crazy this last year but that's no excuse. Whether it's raw materials, labor, or hardware piled on top of wild demands and orders it got out of hand.

If anyone would like for me to look at their order please email me with your order number: [email protected]

I'll be more than happy to look at it and tell you what I see.

We GREATLY appreciate the support from all y'all and want to make sure we do y;all the very best we can.

PS: please don't send your eta request to the inbox here, I don't think to open it that much.

Dang looking on here is a let down. People at 12+ months. I ordered one last week and their site says 4-6 months but I think that's traditional before all the craziness.

When barrels are taking close to that long anyway, does it really matter? I love my Manners stocks - any time I shoot something else, it just feels wrong :)

Worth the wait!

I ordered a bartlein and got it in 10 months, but I refused it and sent it back because I talked myself in to keeping the stock barrel on that only had like 300rds through it. Now here I am, sent my barreled action off yesterday to get a bartlein put on it :ROFLMAO:

It will all depend. I did alot of ETA requests today for guys at 3-4 months who's orders are already hitting the finish room. During the craze we accumulated a hefty backlog but we're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. A lot of orders are moving through quick. Email me your order number and I'll be happy to look at it and see what I think may be realistic.

Thanks for your support!

Regardless of the wait the finished product is worth it.
😁😁. I’m guessing you haven’t been staring at a barreled action for almost 13 months

I mean I agree that the products are great.

That being said, I've already emailed a couple times and spoke to Tom twice on the phone. Two weeks have turned into months. I've learned my lesson: if you want a Manners buy it when it's in-stock from Altus or another reseller. Ordering direct with custom options has turned into a bit of a fiasco.

Depends on the stock also as the LRH are being made faster and I think one of the EH also. As mentioned though Manners are well worth the wait. Been using them since 2008 and have tried others before and after and just nothing really stacks up to the Manners. The TCS is my new favorite of all times!
